A brand that brings it all together
Rachel Spencer is well known in the pet industry – her name comes up in conversations all the time when people are looking for visibility support. Having been a part of her Pets Get Visible membership myself, I already knew how warm, supportive, and genuinely loved she is by the people she works with.
But like many successful business owners with lots of things on the go (a podcast, coaching, membership, blog…), her brand had started to feel a little scattered. People knew of Rachel – but depending on where they first found her, they were getting different experiences of her brand.
We decided it was time for one cohesive, personal brand – simply Rachel Spencer – to act as an umbrella for everything she offers.
Branding for a supportive, down-to-earth Pet business coach
In our early chats, it was clear Rachel’s mission was to help pet business owners stop feeling overwhelmed and start getting visible – with simple, authentic PR support that felt comfortable for them.
She already had a loyal audience, so we didn’t want to lose the brand recognition she’d built up. We kept her core blue tones and refreshed the palette to feel a little more grounded and earthy – a better reflection of her down-to-earth nature.
Rachel’s community knows she’s the real deal – approachable, full of integrity, and always encouraging people to have a go. The brand needed to reflect that.
A brand that feels like Rachel
To match Rachel’s vibe, we went with warm, earthy colours, flowing typography, and line-drawn illustrations that gave the brand a light, playful energy. Nothing too polished – on purpose. Rachel believes in trying things out, learning as you go, and being real – and that’s exactly what we wanted her brand to say too.
And yes, Patch made an appearance! Rachel’s much-loved dog became part of her monogram logo and a standalone badge that could be used across her brand, from socials to event materials.
We also created a rustic-style brand pattern – versatile enough to sit behind text boxes or be used as a background in presentations, carousels and more.
A collaborative process
This one was a true collaboration. Rachel had a clear sense of what mattered, and we worked closely to create something that felt like her through and through.
Alongside the core branding, she now has a huge set of visual assets she can use across social media, her membership, presentations and beyond – plus editable Canva templates that save her time and keep everything consistent.
We also created a visual plan for her brilliant web designers, Beech Web Services (based in Warrington), who brought the new look to life beautifully on her existing site.

Branding that supports the next stage
This rebrand wasn’t just about looking good. It allowed Rachel to fully step into her personal brand – to be proud of the business she’s built and how it supports others. And it gave her audience – existing and new – a clearer way to connect with everything she offers, in one place.
If you’re a pet business coach with lots of different parts to your business, and your brand isn’t quite telling the whole story – let’s talk.
Part of our process is like tipping all the jigsaw pieces out of the box and putting them back together in a way that makes sense, both for you and your audience.
Results & outcomes
Rachel’s business has evolved significantly – shifting more into coaching and focusing on confidence and self-belief as a route to visibility. The new brand helped her step into that shift visually, without losing the familiarity her audience already loved.
“I wanted my brand to feel warmer, friendlier, and more ‘me’. I’ve done a lot of coaching training recently, and the new branding reflects how I now support people to get visible in a way that feels good to them.”
While she hasn’t crunched the numbers, Rachel has definitely noticed a shift in the quality of leads coming her way:
“The people finding me now just feel like a better fit. They seem to ‘get’ what I do straight away, and the conversations are easier and more natural. I’m having to explain myself less, which I think is down to how confident and clear everything feels online now.”
It’s also made a difference to her day-to-day workflow:
“It’s just made everything feel easier. I actually want to send people to my website now – it feels like a proper reflection of me and what I do. I’m not second guessing things anymore, so I’m spending less time faffing and more time doing the bits I love.”
From increased engagement to better-performing carousels and more conversations in her space about her brand, she’s noticed the ripple effects across her marketing.
“Some of my new carousels have really performed well, and I’ve had lots of positive comments from others in my industry about how the brand comes across.”
And when it comes to the goals we set at the beginning?
“Definitely. The new look gave me the push I needed to exhibit at my first event – Edition Dog – and Kate did an INCREDIBLE job on my stand boards, leaflets and loads more. It also gave me the nudge to finally create my planner, which has been huge for growing my business and helping more people feel confident about how they show up.”
Thinking about your own brand?
If you’re in a similar spot to where Rachel was – lots of great things going on, but your brand isn’t quite telling the whole story – let’s talk.
Part of the branding process is like tipping out all the jigsaw pieces and rebuilding the picture in a way that feels clearer and more cohesive – for you and your audience.
A strong brand doesn’t just look good – it makes people feel something. And when your brand genuinely reflects who you are, it becomes so much easier to attract the right people and grow with confidence.
