Bespoke Dog Food Branding with hand drawn design elements

Ever noticed how some furry friends have those adorable squished faces? Well, those are the brachycephalic dog breeds like pugs, bulldogs, and boxers. They’ve got those cute, short snouts that make them so lovable, but they also come with some snorty and drooly issues.

We decided to do something special for these unique pups. Our pet branding team focused on creating food specially tailored for these breeds. We shaped the food to make it easier for them to chew with their shorter jaws, and we even added some extra goodies like supplements and probiotics to help with their tummies and reduce any gassy moments.

But that’s not all! We went the extra mile and designed some snout illustrations to jazz up the brand’s look. It’s playful, eye-catching, and adds a whole lot of charm to our furry friend’s mealtime.

Because every pet deserves a meal that’s as unique and special as they are, right?

Packaging design – Dog food bags

The illustrations quickly became a beloved hallmark of the brand, so it only made sense to feature them prominently on the packaging. Our goal was to capture the lively energy of dogs at mealtime, and the addition of the slobbery tongue does just that, perfectly fitting for dog food branding.

We brought our brand to life with sharp designs and soft shadows, almost like adding 3D stickers, giving it a fresh and dynamic feel. When it comes to dog food branding, it’s all about adding characterful elements. So, we made sure to weave in the playful illustrative style and chunky type throughout.

Capturing the essence of ‘dog’ meant embracing a bit of chaos—the composition wasn’t going to be perfectly proportioned, super aligned, or clean and minimal because, let’s be honest, that’s not very ‘dog,’ is it?
