Dog Trainer School Branding – built around community, credibility and character.
When The Dog Trainer School first came to us, they wanted a visual overhaul and refreshed training badges. But very quickly, it became clear this was bigger than a tidy up.
They are not a faceless training body. They are human, supportive and rooted in real conversations between real trainers. Their USP is community. Togetherness. Shared standards without corporate distance.
As a down to earth pet industry branding team, we matched that energy. It made sense. We understand this space because we are part of it.
We created a full dog trainer school branding system that reflects who they are today, not who they were when they started.
A Visual Identity That Feels Like Them
At the centre of the new identity is the lead and ampersand monogram. The lead represents dogs. The ampersand represents people. Together, they symbolise connection, partnership and community.
We developed a complete asset suite around that mark. Typography, layout principles, badge systems and visual rules that feel confident but never corporate.
The new training badges feel credible and consistent. Clear. Recognisable. Proud to earn.
This is pet industry branding that protects personality, not polishes it away.
Protecting the Brand Beyond the Logo
They came back to us for a second project. This time, to plan and structure their website.
They already had a regular web designer. But they didn’t want the new identity diluted or interpreted loosely.
We created a full website plan and layout direction. Page structure, hierarchy, visual cues and brand consistency guidance. This meant their web designer had a clear roadmap to follow, keeping the brand intact across every touchpoint.
Dog trainer school branding is not just about a logo. It is about making sure every contractor carries the same thread.
Launching “The Dog Trainer school Recommends”
Their third project was the development of “The Dog Trainer Recommended”.
This is a product and service testing initiative. Trainers within their community test products. They score them. If they meet the required standard, they are awarded the badge.
Founder Helen’s background in product testing gave this real weight. This is not a pay to play sticker. It is earned.
We created the badge system and a full PR pack to help brands understand the process and use the mark correctly once awarded.
High profile brands including No Fuss Fill, Tug-E-Nuff and Nutriment have already been recommended.
The result is a new credibility layer for both the school and the brands involved.
The Outcome
A cohesive dog trainer school branding system rooted in community. Clear visual authority without corporate coldness.
A website plan that protects brand consistency long term. A successful launch of a new service with a product badge initiative that builds trust and attracts respected pet brands.
Plus they were nominated for a Pet Industry fedderation award in 2025 from a record number of applicants too.
If you are building something within the pet space and want it to feel human, credible and properly thought through, this is what strong pet industry branding looks like in practice.
“I honestly couldn’t recommend Finbo Studio highly enough. Pulling our branding together, harmonising and polishing it to make everything feel much more cohesive and professional, while still staying true to who we are. They totally understood us from day one: our values, the things we do and don’t like in the dog world, and the tone we want our brand to reflect.”
“Her designs are distinctive, stand-out, and perfectly tailored to our industry… communicative throughout, incredibly easy to work with.”
“Kate just gets it, and she’s brilliant at what she does.”
